Question / Help Using Browser Plugin with .swf files

Hello, I've been a long time user of OBS and I really enjoy the product.

The issue that I am having is regarding the Browser plugin for OBS MP not playing .swf files.

The file in which I am attempting to play is here: http://z0r.de/L/z0r-de_6883.swf Which doesn't show anything at all in the BrowserSource preview screen, as seen here: http://i.imgur.com/HIRSa3n.png I have attempted downloading and using local file to play it, but I get the same result in the end.

If anyone could share some knowledge about this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Last time I checked, OBS MP's Browser Source plugin on Windows doesn't support loading flash/.swf files. You might want to convert your swf into a html5 file and load that.

Also looking at hte swf in question, you might be able to convert that into a video file and use the media player in OBs for that.

Well I just tried the link (both the actual link and downloading the .swf to load up locally) in OBs MP...
I got audio, but no visuals (well technically it was gray where the source should be). I then went to Adobe's website and explicitly installed both the PPAPI and NPAPI plugins, but still the same results.

This mirrors the behavior that Browser Source has had for me on Windows since day 1.

What I see when adding the swf file or link: https://imgur.com/a/A60Xc

I tried my .SWF file again in OBS Studion 17.0.0 and it still doesn't work. Doesn't crash the software like it used to but still not working.
