Question / Help Using a Blackmagic DeckLink Duo 2 capture card with OBS?

I recently purchased a DeckLink Duo 2 card and have been testing it and cannot get it at all to send video to OBS.

I've verified the card appears to work and signals are received in BlackMagics video record software, but nothing in OBS.

This is a 4 input SDI card, and there are now 8 separate video input devices that are available in OBS, but none of them work. There are 4 devices labeled "DeckLink input" and 4 others labeled "WDW input" which I have no information on.

Also, I can't find any specific documentation on this board. Nothing came with the unit except a SD card that had a generic manual for all BlackMagic products minus this one - it's like they don't make individual product manuals and ask their customers to wade through 700+ pages of unrelated documentation to figure out how to use their unit... anybody else encounter this? There's not even a diagram that says which of the 5 connectors on the back of the card are inputs 1-4. Very odd.

Reading Amazon reviews are mixed. Some say it's possible to get this to work with OBS, and some not. Anybody have any info/details?

When I select any of the video input devices I just get a black screen, or in some cases a tiny red square as if there's no dimensions to the video feed... cannot verify that OBS gets a video signal at all. Anybody have help? Can't get much response from Blackmagic on this either..

MysticK, I see you did not get any responses from your question on the Decklink Duo 2 card. I need a similar configuration wtih 3 inputs into OBS and looking to verify compatably before I pull the trigger to purchase the card. Appreciate any feedback.

I use the The Decklink mini recorder single input SDI with a PTZOptics ZCam. Very reliable. The Blackmagic device properties in OBS do have to accurately match what the camera is putting out or black screen is the result

This appears to be an ongoing issue that someone should have come up with a resolution on already. Whether it be Blackmagic or one of the OBS Programmers. I think one of the issues is the guide for using any of these cards seems to be limiting.

I tried a Decklink Duo 2. Spent about a week with support. They were stumped too. Sent it back to Amazon for a refund.

This "just worked":
