Guys, this may be a stupid question, but we have a setup where we have 3 ptz cameras, a Vaddio mixer and a Vaddio Bridge. They are a little older in today's standards... 4years old? The bridge can supply a stream via USB, or via HLS/RTSP. I believe it's already in H264 format. The max resolution can be 1080P 30fps. Does OBS have to re-encode this to send to say YouTube or Facebook or even a multistreaming service? It seems that the laptop we have i5 3.2Ghz and 8Gb or RAM dosent have the horsepower. I was hoping that since the bridge was using it's horsepower to encode the stream, OBS could just pass it through? Not re-encode? Does that make any sense to anyone? Thanks in advance.
