Question / Help Use raspbery with USB-analog-capture-device to stream with VLC to OBS?

Hello,
I want to knwo if it is possible to use a raspberry with an USB-analog-capture-card and VLC to stream to an OBS-PC. Can I use these VLC-Live-Streams in OBS?

There is an analog-camera (no I can't replace it) far away. But there is Ethernet.
If I could stream the video to the OBS-PC I would be happy.

Or any hardware device I can use for this.

Hi,
yes is possible, but some time you got low fps (like 10-15), better idea is use dedicated camera to raspberry 1080p30 with good bitrate.
use ffmpeg to send stream from Raspberry to PC.
 
Hi....as per my knowledge here the trick is getting drivers for whatever OS you're going to run on the Pi. You specifically need ARM Linux drivers instead of x86/x64 drivers.Seems like a lot of work just to accomplish something that finished commercial products already do, but every time someone has a Pi project, it's more for the challenge than goal itself, but that doesn't necessarily make the things you need available.
