Use Chrome Browser for Sources?

Is there a way to use Chrome for browser sources instead of the default one that ships with
OBS?

The reason is that an associate of mine and I are developing a custom app for speech-to-text that requires Chrome.

FYI: Chrome can be launched using the —app switch, where the typical menu and URL bar are not shown — just like the OBS browser.

When I create a custom dock, pointing at a URL that will only work properly in Chrome, I see the buttons, etc. work, except the main functions fails -- because I never get the prompt that would normally ask if it is OK to access the mic.

And, because there is not URL line, or option to add a tab (as if it is being ran with the --app switch), I cannot manually do anything to set the mic access.

Anyone know of a way to access the Chrome settings for the OBS browser, or how to launch the browser with different options?

Try RIGHT click on the source it the source list and select INTERACT.. You will then be able to interact with the source and select what you want.

The functionality I designed my web page around uses Google speech recognition, which requires Chrome 25 or newer — so 75 should be working.

i am wondering if there is something else more base that is wrong — as I see other web pages working, just not mine.
