Use Acidcam in Windows?

I like acidcam by Jared Bruni

He says it is easy for him to use with OBS Mac, but I can't so far get this working in Win11 OBS, I think because once my webcam is in OBS as a source it is no longer available to acidcam. I wonder if anyone has got this working? Maybe this is too obscure a question, if so no worroes

Progress, still can't work with GL version but with Acidcam V2 there is option for other camera settings [greyed out in GL] and if I set camera to 1 instead of default 0 acidcam accesses the webcam, which can then be used in OBS as a Windows window source [of course this removes other webcam input to OBS as camera can be used only in 1 app at a time]
