Question / Help USB Mic Gradual Latency.

I have searched extensively and have not been able to find someone with my exact problem. I have a USB MIC. When I open OBS and speak into the MIC I hear myself immediately in my headphones. (they are plugged into my out port of my on board sound) Within a few minutes I start to notice delay in what I speak into the MIC, returning back into my headphones. The time keeps getting longer and longer. The MIC does not do this in other programs. I have every other device disabled in the Audio settings. Also, when I disable the USB MIC and use the mic that is connected to my headphones, this problem does not happen. Any ideas?

That indicates that either your PC is being overloaded, or that the USB bus your device is plugged into is being overloaded, possibly by being shared among multiple devices. For instance, if you use a USB capture card and it's on the same USB controller as a USB microphone, this might happen.

I had it plugged in the front USB port. I figured that might be too slow, so I moved it to a faster port on the back of the PC. Nothing changed. The PC is an I7 2.8mhz with 12GB of RAM.
