I have a USB camera that I have been trying to use with OBS studio, but every time I try the image either freezes after a few moments or it doesn't show up at all and all I have is a black screen. The camera used to work before, this started happening out of nowhere... in guvcview, however, the camera works just fine.
In OBS studio, whenever the camera freezes and I right click on 'video capture device', the /dev/video* device number displayed there changes. What could be causing this? Could this be a configuration issue? I really wanna rule out this possibility before buying a new camera...
