Apparently droidcam to OBS connections over USB are sensitive to USB cable length/quality. Removing an old 4 foot usb extension cable and just using a 2 foot ( newer ) USB cable got my droidcam to OBS video connection working.
On a wifi connection I found a 100 ms audio sync delay seemed to get the audio and video aligned. Should I expect to need any of that with the video coming in on USB?
