Hi,
I have a newer MacBook Pro (Intel) and have a USB-A cable from an audio interface plugged into a USB-C adapter to route audio to my computer. OBS sees the audio coming in (the dB meter moves when I play audio, but when I stream and record, all I get is silence. I've checked on a much older computer that plugging straight into a USB-A port allows for streaming / recording to work. Because of this fact, I think that the USB-C hub is to blame. Are there recommended USB-A to USB-C cables to use with OBS? Or have others found an ability to work around this issue and get audio streamed / recorded? I want to use my newer computer to stream since my other computer is quite old. I've attached a log file which contains information about what was going on when I ran a few sample recordings to try to figure this out!
