I'm new to OBS and this forum and sort of a low level tech person. I'm using an iRig I/O to get audio from a mic into my Mac (which worked yesterday??) and I have meter in system preferences - audio in so I know the signal is getting into the machine. But no meters in OBS audio mixer (again I had them yesterday before the iPhone iOS app, see below).
Today I decided to try to test drive use of my iPhone for video into OBS through third party iOS app, and that work fine. I have muted the mic out from my phone and muted the iPhone mic in OBS. If I unmute both I get meters in OBS audio mixer.
Does anyone have and guesses as to what is causing the audio from the iRig (connected to USB port and showing meter in system preferences) to not end up in OBS?
