Question / Help Upload to Youtube @ 1080p 60fps

Been using OBS for years now. I took a break to finish college and came back to OBS studio (I used it as classic for years).

For some reason, I cannot get any of my recordings to get 1080p on youtube, nor can I get them to hit 60fps. I only get the HD option of 720p

As per youtube guidelines, I am using VBR, and well above their recommended 15Mbps bitrate. When the recording is done, I check the properties and it does indeed say 1920x1080 @ 60fps, but for whatever reason when I upload to youtube, these quality options aren't available. My older videos were 720p@60fps, but I have upgraded my PC to be able to hit 1080p recordings at 60fps.

Just wanted to check here first before assuming it's something on YouTube's end and not my settings.

Disable the Rescale Output option in Encoding under the Recording Tab. You're already scaling down once using the Downscale option under Video.

Why the rescale? The quality output by youtube would be significantly higher if you would stay at 2560x1440.
