I'll start with my setup. 5 upload speed, i7 8700k 5ghz overclocked, gtx 1070ti and im playing apex legends
so, i used to have an older version of OBS on my older windows and decided to clean my pc and upgrade my graphics card from 1060 to 1070ti and overclock my gpu from 3.2 ghz to 5ghz if it helps and i tried to stream on the same settings that i used to from before and i noticed a weird issue, my stream skips frames or looks laggy sometimes when i play apex legends, in a way every once in a while that i drop below 180 fps my stream lags. which is weird cause i used to stream with 100 fps or 150 fps with no issues on a worse graphics card.
a few more things to say, i tested almost every setting, from the lowest quality to the highest, from x264 to nvenc (new) and the older one. nothing helps.
i tried locking my fps to 120 fps, then my stream lags all the time.
i play on 1280x720 resolution and everything on low/disabled.
also i almost always maintain 250 fps (thats my prefered fps lock cause i have a 240hz monitor) i only have below 180 fps when i drop in the beginning (thats when everyone loses fps) and sometimes in some fights or some parts of the map
