I upgraded my GPU from a AMD 6870 to a Nvidia GTX 1060 and reinstalled Windows 10 64 bit.
I've tried lots of things and googling and can't seem to get it working perfect again.
My two main problems are window capture doesn't work anymore and my webcam also doesn't work across 4-5 scenes.
I backed up my obs folder in %appdata% and also my profile data (basic.ini, service.json and scenes.json).
I got my webcam working again by deleting everything and starting over by default, but cant seem to get window capture to work on chrome. I notice that many things come up black (calculator, music player, etc) and internet explorer works; I'm not going to use IE. Also a file explorer window works.
What did I try?
1. Disabled intel graphics in BIOS (igpu), and also disabled it in device manager (it disappeared).
2. Tried running the 32bit and 64bit OBS.
3. Run as admin
4. Enable compatibility mode to Win 7.
5. Nvidia control panel > Manage 3D settings >
Multiple display performance mode (default)
Single display performance mode
Compatibility performance mode
I tried all possibilities of display modes mixed with compatibility mode win7.
I also tried the OBS setting "multi-adapter compatibility" (a setting found in window capture dialogue box)
I've also disabled the XBOX gameDVR setting in Windows10.

What does work is display capture. But I don't want to use display capture. I don't think it would work for my stream since I have twitch chat popup window. I'm pretty sure if you use display capture the window you want to capture has to be in front of everything, or it wont work.
