Updated to version 26, now "encoder error" on all recordings

I am a university lecturer and have been using OBS on Windows 10 to record videos for my online course. Today I updated to OBS version 26, and now when I try to record, it errors out after one second with "An encoder error occurred while recording."

These are the same settings as I've used before; just to check, I completely uninstalled OBS including user files, reinstalled, and recreated my settings, and the same thing is happening. Same thing also happens if I use the default settings with no configuration.

This is crucial to my teaching workflow -- help?

There was a new implementation of the QSV encoder in v26, it seems like it isn't working on your setup for some reason. We'll look into it. For now you could try the x264 encoder or roll back to 25.0.8.
