Unversioned get functions

So where are uversioned GET functions documented. I can find nothing on LUA call such as

obs_source_get_unversioned_id

I can certainly find the obs_source_get_id

But what exactly is the difference, and where is this documented.

the version number is no longer a part of the id string.
