I'm trying to use OBS Studio to record World of Warships, and World of Warships is crashing. This is a new and recent problem.

I tried to upload a log file directly to the post, but the upload gets stuck with a progress animation. I uploaded it through a third-party service. It is a fairly new log file, so it shouldn't be too messy to comb through. (edit: Apparently, the attachment worked, but either the site or Chrome didn't properly display that it worked. The puu.sh link has another one or two repeated tests I did after the fact, but no notable new information.)

OBS Log:

Test cases:
  • When I have OBS open with only Game Capture enabled on World of Warships, then afterwards open World of Warships, World of Warships will crash during initial loading.
  • When I have OBS open with only Display Capture enabled on World of Warships's monitor, then afterwards open World of Warships, World of Warships will load and record without any problems.
  • When I have OBS open with Game Capture disabled on World of Warships, then afterwards open World of Warships, World of Warships will load without any problems. However, if I enable Game Capture afterwards, World of Warships will become non-responsive a few seconds later.
When World of Warships becomes non-responsive, Windows 10 lets me dig into the error. I tried to peek into it using Visual Studio 2015. Visual Studio tells me there is an "Unhandled exception" pertaining to "graphics-hook32.dll" and "WorldOfWarships.exe", with an "access violation".

I tried breaking out of the execution to find out more, and Visual Studio simply tells me that "graphics-hook32.pdb" isn't loaded, and that I can try to manually locate it. I combed through all of my OBS installation and found a lot of .pdb files, but no "graphics-hook32.pdb".

I will meanwhile see if Wargaming Support will know anything about this, as I updated both World of Warships and OBS Studio back to back before I encountered this error. However, both graphics-hook32.dll and .pdb seem to be OBS territory.
