I am trying to set up live streaming and are new to this process. I amusing a 2011 MacBook Pro with High Sierra. I am using an older Black Magic UltraStudio that is Thunderbolt 2 compatible with my computer. My computer will recognize the UltraStudio and allows me to specify the video and audio input as HDMI using the Black Magic software. When I launch OBS there is no video or sound. OBS defaults to SDI input and will not let me change it. The pull down menus for device, video connection and audio connection appear only for a fraction of a second and vanish thus making it impossible to switch the video and audio inputs to HDMI. The log files are attached.

If you're still looking for help, I had to download the black magic desktop viewer( I updated to version 11.6) and my signal came back through OBS. Hope this helps! Here is the link to the download page: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/capture-and-playback
I posted the wrong log file with the original post above. Attached are the correct files. I am using Desktop Video v. 11.4 which is compatible with the High Sierra system on my older MacBook Pro. It was the most recent version that listed High Sierra compatiabliltiy. 11.6 requires Catalina or Mojave.
Thanks. I tried it but the problem persists. I am able to get a video signal using Black Magic Express, but can't get OBS to recognize the video source.
