Hello everyone, I searched for my issue but did not see any threads with my exact problem.

I'm trying to record gameplay and record my voice using a wireless microphone.

I'm able to record just fine when both are set to the same track but I can't get both to record with different tracks. Below are my settings, which I got from this video here, and also posted are the logs from my last test. I tried various sources for my desktop audio but while every source I select is detected by the program, I still can't record multiple tracks. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Here are my audio source options and every option produces the same problem:

Here are the mixer settings I'd like to use. I've switched around the track options but unless I have everything set to the same track, both my desktop audio and microphone will not be picked up by the recording. Always one or the other.

I tried to follow the logs, but admittedly a lot of it is over my head. If there is anything else I can produce or share to help solve the problem, that would be great. Thanks.

Playing back a file with multiple audio tracks doesn't play back all of the tracks simultaneously, in the same way that watching a movie with multiple language tracks doesn't play back all of the languages at the same time. You need to switch between the audio tracks in your media player (ideally something like VLC or MPC-HC).

Well now I feel stupid, I thought the two tracks would be played at the same time.

I originally tried to watch the vids in VLC but it just shuts down for some reason and the UWP version of VLC doesn't have audio options. I'll try MPC-HC.

Thanks a lot and sorry for the stupid question.
