Unable to record itch.io game

I have recently been trying to record an itch.io game (https://zytrome.itch.io/shed-horror) but every time i full screen the game my recording freezes on a single frame but the audio is still being picked up. i have tried game capture (full screen and specific window) and have also tried display capture. just wondering if this is a problem with my pc or with obs thank you for your time. PS. the video from my webcam does not freeze either
