Unable to Install Background Removal Plugin

When we downloaded the Background Removal Plugin, we received a .os file. I copied that file and followed this path:

Applications > OBS > Show Package Contents > Contents > Plugins

I pasted the .os file into that folder and opened OBS, but my Plugin did not show up. I followed the tutorial at the link here to see if I was doing anything wrong. In my Resources folder (following the same path as above) I do not have a OBS-Plugins subfolder that contains .os files. Is that why this isn't working?

I’m having exactly the same problem, I’ve tried for two days. Added it to various folders then delete it when it doesn’t work or won’t let obs load! Windows is much simpler ‍♂️

I think it should be a .plugin file.
