Spent the last few hours watching great videos to set up OBS to convert vhs tapes which is all I need. I've got it all set up with the right connections. It records video but no sound. I don't get a dropdown menu for the audio (as I see in many videos) when i go into the device setting which is set for my vcr. I’m able to record and see the picture in playback when I stop the recording, but no sound. Downloaded and thrashed 31.0.0 a number of times. Working on iMac desktop 15.1 Sequoia.
In the Audio Settings: I have no option under "desktop Audio" except "Disabled" same with the 'desktop audio 2'. I'm able to see optioin for the USB Digital Audio in the "Mic/Aux 1-4 but that doesn't do anything.
when I click on the Sources Properties, I only get “Device” which is selected to USB Digital Audio and nothing else appears in the entire window except the option to select “Enable Downmixing” right under it. That’s it, no drop down menu that could take me to the Audio part. Trying to figure out what is not happening here. Thanks for your help if you can.
