My laptop runs on windows 8.1 and when I tried to install OBS I’m always stuck at this pop up. I tried redownloading and ending all the programs in my task manager but nothing seems to work.
Restart your PC and try running the installer before all your normal apps launch. It's possible one of your programs uses parts of OBS behind the scenes, which OBS detects when it's trying to install.
