i have been looking at youtube videos, forums and other things to try to figure out how to get my stream going from obs to youtube ton 1080 and can seem for the life of me to get over 360p. i let it do its auto detect when i installed it (obs). speedtest.net has me at Ping 8ms, DL 95 UL 7M

here is the log file

Interesting; your logfile doesn't appear to show any kind of issues with the streaming attempts at the end.
I would strongly recommend switching your Encoder to NVENC in the settings area; it's a separate part of the GPU and will not affect your gameplay, but the NVENC core on your 2060 will output equivalent to x264 Slow (which is much better than the Veryfast you're currently using).
You may just need to let the stream run for a bit, so Youtube can normalize and bring the full quality options online.

so im new to streaming. turns out i forgot to hit "go live" and was watching the preview. easily hit that 1080 when i went live. but thank you for the suggestion on the nvenc. in the other things i had read youtube suggested H.264 so i switched from nvenc to x264. but i will switch back

Cheers! Yeah, 99% of Youtube "best settings guides" are complete BS, outdated, or in many cases actively harmful... just being info parroted by people who don't actually understand what any of it does. There are a couple of good ones out there, but far and away the vast majority are... not. Strongly not.

NVENC on a Turing card (like your 2060) sits right around x264 Slow, and will definitely be MUCH better quality than x264 Veryfast. :) Have a good one, and good luck!
