Unable to allow OBS to install system software for virtual camera

I just installed OBS 30.2.3 on a 2024 M3 Macbook Air running Sequoia 15.1.1 and when I tried to start the virtual camera, a dialog popped up saying I needed to allow OBS to install system software. However, when I went to System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Security to do that (as instructed by the dialog) , there was no listing of OBS as an app that I could do that for.

I'll attach a screenshot showing what I'm seeing.

Any ideas what's going wrong?

OK, the only thing I can tell you is that this is fixable. I've managed to do it. I removed the installation that I had, and re-installed, during this re-install, it asked if I wanted to add in modules, and lo and behold, when I tried to start the virtual camera it worked. I'm really sorry that I can't tell you exactly how I managed (it wasn't really me, it just happened).

I had exactly the same problem. I just went to System Settings -> General -> Plugins -> Camera plugins and turn on the OBS option. That's all :)
