ULH0 format issue?

I've been using replay source for IR's for a while but the file that's generated has a green overlay on top of it.... is this a codec issue??? Says a ULH0 codec was used, works great on my dev PC but my streaming laptop has this green overlay. Also won't play ULH0 format in windows media player. Happens for both lossless and non lossless options. What is the heck is going on??? LOL

ULH0 is utvideo codec, used by OBS for lossless recordings in simple output mode. Replay buffer uses recording settings for encoding the buffer, so change the recording settings if you don't want this codec for the replay buffer.

Just to be clear this is being seen in the Replay Source plugin, not the standard instant replay built into OBS. Are you suggesting the settings for the encoding are used in the plugin as well? Thanks for the response :)

I'm comparing two different PC's, identical settings but one has this problem the other works perfectly. I'm not really sure I understand your answer. The encoder in the recording tab of output is using NVIDIA NVEC H.264. Encoder settings are the same as well.
I also have two OBS instances now on the problem PC to see if any updates in OBS would've helped. Nope.

Then I guess this plugin has its own settings for how it encodes the replay buffer. Either it's hardcoded or you might be able to change it within the plugin's settings.

I just narrowed the problem down some. I recently introduced an elgato cam link 4k to my system that I’m using for the video replays and the same problem exists after I installed that video capture device on my main PC. Narrowing down the issue, this is a weird one!!
