UDP via Streaming Function No Longer Works

Hello,

For the longest time I have been using the Streaming function in OBS to stream UDP/MPEG-TS video out to a multicast address (as well as unicast at times). I haven't used OBS for a few months but attempted to use it again the other day and found that it appears OBS no longer supports UDP via the Streaming function. I now have to use the Recording function with "Custom Output (FFmpeg)" to stream UDP, which I knew existed before, but it was nice to be able to stream and record at the same time.

Does anyone know when and why this has been changed? I could not find a reason with a quick search of the release notes.

Thanks.

I think you used an additional server, like this one:
Are you asking if I did use a server like that, or are you suggesting that I should try that?
I did not use an additional server to get UDP to work via the streaming function.
Maybe it was something that was unintended all along, but it just worked, and someone finally "fixed" it.

I get the feeling not a lot of people on here know what I am talking about, lol. As if no one really used the streaming function to send video via UDP to a destination.

If anyone that reads this knows a better place to go for help or knows an OBS developer, let me know. Thanks!
