Dear all,
sorry if my question is dumb, but I am not an expert about this topic.
I would like to make a UDP stream with the HDMI input of a camera (Blackmagic Micro 4K) read with a GPU (Avermedia HD C985); moreover, I would like to read this UDP stream from the same PC, in order to have this video inside another software which handle UDP streams.
For achieving this goal I followed the steps shown here.
OBS does recognize the camera and I see the video in the main window; moreover, the recording starts without errors. However, I am not able to read this stream outside of OBS, all I get is a black video. I tried also with VLC: with some streaming configurations it seems that is reading something (the time goes on instead of looking for a network streaming) but the screen remains black.
My question is: is it possible to read the UDP stream from the same PC which is producing it? If it is, could be the problems caused by HDCP protection?
Thanks!
Giulio
