Question / Help ubuntu not pulling latest update from repo

I'm trying to figure out why my package manager is not pulling the latest version from the repo (kubuntu 14.04). Muon package manager still shows 0.10.1-135-trusty as the latest version available. I checked on launchpad and it's showing the new version there. Even removed and readded the repo to no effect. hmm...

There are some issues with the build for 14.04. We are running into this bug when building for 14.04: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtbase-opensource-src/+bug/1435324

We're not sure yet when it will be resolved. 14.10 and 15.04 should be working.

Ahh, it would affect the version I'm using. lol Well, I'm a patient person.

What's even more crazy is that installing the offending packages by hand actually works.

How do you install a package that hasn't been built?

I was talking about the packages which apt refuses to install during the build process.

That's an issue I think they are having on their end. I solved that on my system already when I built the browser plugin.

Damn, I'm gonna have to build this myself aren't I... oh well...

Hope the trusty build issue gets solved soon, it's a pain to compile it. Still trying to get it to compile. I solved the qtbase-dev prob on my system when I had to build the browser plugin.
