Ubuntu and custom browser docks

I'm trying to move a client from Windows 10 to Ubuntu, but OBS doesn't seem to be showing the option to add custom browser docks.
I understand OBS doesn't support this under Wayland.
Is this true?
If it is, what other distro do you recommend, as I absolutely need custom browser dock support.

Installed Linux Mint and that works. Crazy that the documentation officially says it supports Ubuntu, but that's clearly not true.

Both Mint and Ubuntu are Debian based distros.

Most distros have moved over to wayland by default. Linux Mint has not.

Mint is using X11 by default. You could have enabled X11 on your Ubuntu installation instead of switching to Mint.

It is 100% supported on Ubuntu, but maybe the project should note that users need to be on x11 for certain features.

Not trying to be pedantic here, just clarifying what is going on.
