Question / Help Typical values for noise gate?

Hi,

I'm trying to better understand the audio filters, and I have a couple of questions:

1. what would be the typical values for the noise gate for recordings in a location like a small auditorium or church for example?
2. Are there other audio filters, maybe plugins, that can be used to help enhance the audio?
3. Has anyone worked with audio filters in ffmpeg that could suggest how to play with that? I have existing videos from OBS that I'd like to play with audio filters (post-processing)

On the noise gate the answer is it totally depends :-( Best thing to do is to use the old version of OBS which has a noise gate preview to work out your values. There are loads of videos on YouTube to show you how, then transpose the values into OBS Studio.
