Bug Report Two webcams not working together: Log included

I have a Logitech C920 and a Microsoft Lifecam HD Studio.
when the two are connected I can switch between the two in skype with no problem. But in OBS they cannot both be connected at the same time, it would appear whichever is the last to connect overrides the other.
OBS detects both cameras and allows me to select them as a source but there video feed never shows up.
I have tried Deactivating when not in use and all that but still no luck.
If anyone has any ideas or would like further information please let me know.

When I first tried to set them up they were connected to a hub, this is due to my recording setup is intended that the cameras are some distance from the computer. However I've tried everything including connecting them directly to the ports on the laptop.

ok that seems to have made them come to life, here's a picture of it,

However My old scene collection had a very complicated setup, to create it all again from scratch would take ages, what can I do to fix or copy across my other scene, and what happened? what caused it? and what can I do to prevent it happening again?
Thanks for the quick help by the way

You should go through all the scenes and re-do the video capture devices for the cameras, making sure you don't have any duplicates and are using "Add Existing"

Ok Curious. I couldn't find anything wrong, I had used existing sources when I wanted to use the same camera in separate scenes.
nontheless after deleteing all video capture sources I was able to re-add them again without issue.

It can cause problems. USB bandwidth for webcams is limited to 480mbit per port. 480mbit isn't enough for 720p30 let alone 1080p30 without compressing the image.
