Question / Help Two Radeon 390x - cant select Screen from 2nd one

Hello everyone,

i couldnt find a post about my issue, hence i created a new one.

I own 2 Radeon 390x cards with 4 monitors attached, each. So 8 in total. I want to stream a monitor from my second card. However, i can only select one of the 4 Monitors of the first card but none of the Monitors of my second card.

Am i missing something? Or is that not supported?

thanks,
Andreas

AFAIK you can't capture screens that aren't connected to the same graphics card that OBS is running on.

This is happening on Laptops all the time (because they have multiple GPUs).

Can't confirm that, i can capture the screens at my AMD 7970 and the ones at my 6600K with OBS.

so, thats conflicting information.. :)

even though i am willing to accept (as i dont really care) that i need to capture screens connected to the same card OBS is running.. However, then i need a way to control where its running cause right now i need it to run on the other card..

is there a way to do that?

If you right-click in preview window and choose Fullscreen Projector (Preview) - how many 'Displays' available to output, all 8 or only 4?

there's 8 available...

and only 4 as a monitor
