Question / Help Two OBS streams at once?

I noticed that I can run multiple instances of OBS Studio. However, I can only stream from one of them. On the second instances, while the start streaming and start recording buttons are available, clicking on them doesn't do anything. As a temporary alternative, I'm running OBS Studio alongside OBS Classic.

Just tested, I was able to record simultaneously by running 2 instances of the 64bit version. I don't have 2 streaming services set up to verify the functionality there, but it SHOULD work if they can both record. I am running the 0.15.2 version.

EDIT: I'm also using the NVENC transcoder on the GTX 680, which supports two simultaneous streams.

I'm using the "AMD Video Coding Engine H.264 Encoder (Media Foundation)" encoder. I open OBS twice (hasn't mattered for me if it's 32-bit + 64-bit / 32-bit + 32-bit / 64-bit + 64-bit), hit start recording on one, and it starts recording. On the other window, hit record does nothing.

Looks like this setup does work if I select a different encoder on one of the OBS windows. Guess one will use the AMD encoder while the other will use x264.
