Another setup thread. What's the best setup for a decent looking stream?

i7-4930K
16GB RAM
GTX 1080 Graphics Card

Currently have a 15.50Mbps Download with a 5.63Mbps Upload according to SpeedTest

720p, 30 FPS, 3000 Kbps. Enable vsync or a frame rate limiter in the games you play so they don't max anything out.

I tried doing the 720p, 30 fps with 3000 kbps set and when I watch my stream every so often it will pause and pick up within a few seconds.

Output 'simple_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 5951 (16.6%)

You probably need to lower your bitrate. Try lowering by 500. And you could raise your encoder setting to Faster or maby eve higher. :)

And put your downscale filter from Bilinear to Lanczos.

And since you have a badass computer you can use amped up encoder settings and prolly get a good looking stream with this low bitrate.
