Twitch Game Name to .TXT file

I am looking for a plugin that uses Twitch's API to grab my currently playing game name and print it to a .txt file.

I have a 'coming up next' scene that I would like to dynamically display the game name as it is updated.

I don't have any experience working with APIs or lua/python scripts, so any help is appreciated. Google turned up no results.

I just found within the S2 Shoutout by Streamando's code, there is a url that calls the api data with a supplied username.
