Question / Help Twitch Chat Dock has disappeared

My Twitch chat dock has disappeared and it is no longer available under the "view - dock list". Any ideas?

For anyone else who has this problem- I had switched what I was connected to (trying out fb gaming), but I fixed it by just reconnecting my twitch (not just stream key)

Hmm, this did not work for me. I am using OBS 26.1.1. Any other suggestions?

You can't use the twitch chat with a manually entered stream key. You must use the "Connect account" system and log in to your account that way.

Thanks! But I just get a blank page with no opportunity to sign in. I can stream from OBS to Twitch, so they are connected in some way, but OBS will not display the twitch chat (either as a dock or as a browser source.) Been trying to figure this out all day LOL. Grateful for any other suggestions...

You may have an antivirus or firewall program installed that is interfering with OBS' ability to log in based on that.

@Harold There is no blank page for restream.io -- it offers me the chance to login. But I want OBS to connect to Twitch directly, not via restream. Argh....I might try reinstalling OBS; things shouldn't be this difficult.

I just opened stream control panel from a web window after the chat didn't come back. Not a fix, but you can get around bugs.

If you want to be using restream while connected to twitch for chat, you need to use a custom dock instead. If you want to use restream's combined chat, you connect your restream account.
