Question / Help Twitch Alerts image not showing in 0.15.2 - 64bit

I recently installed 15.2 and I am attempting to set up Twitch Alerts.

I've watched the video tutorial, and after following all of the steps (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yffHVAPHR2w) kept getting a blank window with audio. I've tried to disable every other video source and ensured that the Twitch Alert source had the highest priority. I am getting Audio, but not video. I've tried removing the CSS blurb that gets auto-added to see if that made any difference, and it is not. I've tried temporarily disabling my antivirus/firewall (Avast), did nothing.

I tried to re-install OBS with the version that comes with the plug-in, and still I am having the same issue.

Edit: I've also tried to update the MS Framework or whatever as it mentioned that might help, and it did nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Try adding the --disable-gpu flag to the 'target' field of your OBS shortcut properties.

It should look like this:

This disables hardware acceleration in the browser sources, which doesn't really work nicely for a lot of people and causes issues like the one you're experiencing.

Well shit man, that did the trick. This may be a stupid question, but is this disabling the GPU from being utilized at all on OBS?
