Question / Help twitch alerts double sound

Hi

So I am using twitch alerts for my follower alerts and I have a sound to notify me when I get one.

The only problem is when I test it it makes the sound twice in test videos meaning it will be the same on stream?

I have muted the desktop, elgato and camera audio the only audio I have active is my line in which is connected to my a40 mixamp so it picks up my voice, the game audio and also friends voices.

This is really frustrating me, i recently built this new computer and I am running everything the same as my old pc but I never had this issue on the other one.

I was running classic on the old PC but I dont think that would be the issue.

Any help would be massively appreciated,

Thanks

Don't add twitch alerts multiple times. Use Add Existing to add it to multiple scenes where needed.

I dont have it multiple times.

I have added the alerts as a browser source only once but when you activate it on the site you get a green box that shows you when someone follows and it plays a sound.

This means that because all sound comes out of my headset it plays the sound on the twitch alerts and also on obs itself and they both come through the headset at slightly different times. I thought that muting desktop would do this as both of the sounds are coming from the desktop but it doesnt seem to work and i cannot find a way to mute obs itself?

If you're adding it direct to OBS, you don't use the green box on the website. You don't have to have that open once you link your account on streamlabs.
