Tweening?

I'm not sure where to post this thread, so I chose to put it here in the Support forum, but it may still be out of place. Not really sure.

I'm just curious of OBS-MP has the potential to support tweening between two layouts with the same sources? I'm aware that it isn't available at the moment, but I'm just asking about the future.

This would probably require things like source grouping (or folders etc. that would accomplish the same thing), but it would be very nice if that sort of functionality would be available in the future, either through built-in features or plugins.

I did a quick search on the forums for similar questions/requests, but came up empty-handed. I figure people might not call this 'tweening', though, so I may have missed it.

Anyway, thanks for any answers. :)

Do you mean transitions, or more the "animation" concept of tweening with interpolated transformation?

Transitions are planned, "tweens" are not.

I meant the animation concept, though obviously I'm talking about applying it to source positioning/size. Think of television broadcasts that can shrink and enlarge camera shots from one scene to the next.

Would it be feasible for plugins to achieve that effect in the future, with the way OBS-MP is built? While I'm not sure of how the GUI for that type of plugin would work out, it would be something interesting to look into if it's at all possible.
