Whenever I do a display capture, I'm able to see my cursor move just fine and my system doesn't seem to slow down. There's no encoding overload and I can record myself visually with my webcam just fine, the issue is solely with capturing displays, like youtube videos.
I've switched the encoder between the two options, tried all the downscale filters, and changed the resolution to 1280x720. Having run my log through the automatic analyzer came up inconclusive, it said everything was fine, save for some negligible audio matter (mismatched sample rates).
Here's the last log anyways: https://obsproject.com/logs/cIWVSxFg2pH1mtAi
And the current log: https://obsproject.com/logs/_xBVGmBTaDqaTxi_
After combing through these recording logs, installing vlc, and updating my graphics drivers, it turns out that OBS simply refused to record anything from Google Chrome; still, it records video devices, gameplay, and other browsers. WHY?
