Question / Help trying to sync LR audio channels

hi there, im tyring to sync audio for a live stream

we are using 2 lav mics that connect to a camera the camera then sends audio to my elgato hd60 s then to my computer

the lag comes from the lav mics them selves as they are different brands which have different transmission speeds

i attempted to duplicate my elgato hd60 s audio feed. I was then thinking of isolating the L channel and the R channel then adjusting the latency in OBS but was unable to duplicate the audio i can duplicate the video no problem, is there an easier workaround?

Don't use the elgato for sending your lav mic audio. For one, you won't be able to get a duplicate audio source as it's locked to the video capture device. For two, the audio sync coming from the elgato is notorious for drifting over the course of recording/stream.

Your idea of using a single audio source twice should work, just as long as you're using an actual audio source. I would see if you can get the lav mic audio sent to your computer's line-in port.
