Do yourself a favor and get video output through capture card working at
- OS level first, and only after that is confirmed, move to OBS
- And to safe frustration, it wouldn't hurt to make sure HDMI working with a monitor or TV before even moving to PC
for the OS level, Windows has a couple of native apps you can use to check the incoming video signal
if you search this forum, other similar discussions will bring up the caution of the old video most likely be interlaced vs modern expectation/defaults of a non-interlaced signal. so beware, and the other discussions will have comments on OBS settings to accommodate such
