So I probably just need some help finding a guide on what all the features actually do, but I am using OBS to record myself playing a game, then rewatching it to check for mistakes so I can improve. I have no plans on streaming and no plans on uploading to Youtube. I can record at any setting, that's not the issue. The problem is file sizes for videos are enormous. I don't really want a 12 gig file for a 35 minute video since I only have so much hard drive space. I usually delete the videos after watching them once, but sometimes I might want to save them if I had a good run. I set it up at one point so the video files were about 625 mb for a 31 minute video, but it looked like trash so I'm willing for it to be a little bigger than that. Also, I don't need it to be 1920x1080 just for me to rewatch it, I just don't want it to be really pixelated.
