Question / Help trying to record 4k but video seems "jittery"

So, i am trying to record a 4k video of my gameplay and upload it to youtube. I have an GTX1060, with i7-7700. I understand that my rig wont stream 4k without a 2nd pc but i feel i should be able to record 4k. i attached my log file to help with the snooping but i will also link out to a youtube video i uploaded to show you what i mean by jittery. its not real defined like dropped frames but its noticeable. More like i feel the video isnt as smooth as it could be.

You have 56% lagged/stalled frames, due to rendering problems.
This meany, your GPU is not able to run you game while it is also rendering the OBS scene.
GTX1060 is not really suited for 4k. Is it even holding steady 60fps in Smite (because you tried to record with 60fps)?
Reduce details/effects and limit your fps, until the GPU load is not peaking over 90%.

Yeah when not recording with maxed graphics I sit about 135fps. I can also stream 720p60 fps at about 100fps in game. But thank you. Now I know what's happening and where to start tweaking.

Sounds like you allow the GPU to bottleneck by not having an FPS limit in your game (or one, that is too high). With ingame fps capped at 60fps, the GPU might be able to render the OBS scene fast enough.

@JohnWayneHero you should be able to record 2160p with geforce experience, i don't think you will ever be able to do it with OBS with your hardware, it is just to inefficient.
