Trying to get the most out of my MacBook

Hey! I'm new to OBS and I'm just trying to get the most out of my Mac.

Here are my specs:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)
2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB

My desire is to record videos and stream to Twitch. Typically my sources will involve a webcam video of me, a browser source and a Xbox source.

I've only been playing around a little bit but I have definitely experienced some lag with what I have done so far.

Is my Mac powerful enough to do these things? Are there specific settings I need to look to adjust to allow it to perform better?

I wouldn't try more than a 720p stream at 30fps under 3500 bitrate. Macs throttle and I really haven't enjoyed streaming from my Macbook.
