Trying to get into the OBS plugin scene

I am trying to compile just the most basic tutorial plugin after doing the environmental variables and what not. And with much trial and tribulations, the only error I have left is

Error LNK1104 cannot open file 'OBSApi.lib' Tutorial C:\~\~\~\documents\visual studio 2017\Projects\Tutorial\Tutorial\LINK 1


Any suggestions?

My suggestion would be to not bother trying to compile or make plugins for OBS Classic, but instead work on OBS Studio. https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/getting-started-with-obs-development.21326/
