Trying to figure my setup out

So this is my dilemma, new to running obs. Have an x box one running with an el gato to my pc. The sound from my gameplay comes in perfectly. Now, my Astro a40 TR with Mixamp is plugged into my x box how do I get my headset mic sound on my stream? Do I need to plug it into my PC instead? And if so, when my headset is plugged into my PC how would I hear people talking in multiplayer on x box and more importantly how would I hear game sound? Someone SOS please I’m struggling

I'm not a gamer, and don't have an Xbox, so can't comment directly. However a with recent OBS update to v26, LOTS of forum posts at the moment, so a generic posting title as yours may get overlooked. If you can, update subject to being more specific (..ie something along the lines of 'Xbox audio including plugged in microphone') you may get better responses
