trying to copy mini dv tapes

I purchased a Panasonic mini DV to convert my tapes to DVDs and USBs. OBS came with it but I can't get my camera to connect to the OBS to copy the tapes.

How is the camera attached to your computer? Most mini DV cameras use Firewire to capture to computer. Or, if you use the video output (usually composite video) you will need a video capture device for your computer. If the camera has a USB port, that's usually only for transferring photos recorded to an SD card in the camera. Can you give us the model number?

Tengo una panasonic NVMD10000 OBS detecta la cámara con el nombre VIDEO EDIT pero no se puede ver la imagen.
La aplicación cámara de Windows me permite ver la cámara como si fuera una cámara web.
¿cuál puede ser el problema?
