Hey guys, here's the log file: https://gist.github.com/977331500b82dec6cba58e41dae802c5
I have my controller connected via a network of audio cables in a loop separating incoming and outgoing chat audio so that I'm only sending incoming teammate chat to the capture card.
I've tested the headset connected via this loop to the controller, incoming and outgoing sound is perfect.
On my streaming PC I see that the "recording device" Digital Audio Interface - AverMedia Live Gamer HD2 is listed and enabled, but no matter what, it does not indicate via the bars beside it which should fluctuate green that it's detecting the sound signal. https://flic.kr/p/Y76psx
I even tested two things: plugged iPhone into all the stereo plugs in my loops, and sometimes I'd hear nothing through the headset, but see no movement on the capture card bars, and other times I'd hear music crystal clear through the headset.
To test the stereo line itself to the capture card, I plugged the phone in where the cord goes into the capture card and could play music to the headset. I tried recording my voice in the memo app from the headset and nothing recorded, and this is fine because I only want to capture incoming teammate chat, hence the multiple splitters in the loop to split the audio.
I just ran another test where the iPhone was plugged into the end of the extension line which is meant for the capture card, and tried to record a memo of incoming chat by playing back a recorded voice message in xbox one. No sound was recorded on the phone. That tells me the signal is not getting through the loop to the phone. But then why is music able to get from that end through the loop to the headset? And why doesn't music from the iPhone go down the extension line to the capture card when I've isolated just those?
Maybe you can look at my schematic of my audio line loop and tell me if I've made a mistake which keeps the incoming chat from getting to the capture card. As well, maybe you can tell me why the capture card doesn't seem to be capturing sound.

The reason I have the loop like this is to minimize how much I have to change cables... I'd hope to have everything going into the capture card and be able to unplug/plug in my headset when I switched from console to pc streaming. I'm aware of ways to JUST capture console http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/108404-livestreaming-with-xbox-one-and-party-chat-help/, and I'm sure there are ways to JUST capture PC chat... and that both wouldn't require the way the cords are already set up. Perhaps I'll do that but first I'll have to figure it out.
Thanks.
